Emma Charlotte Duerre Watson born to British lawyers Jacqueline Luesby & Chris Watson in Paris, France. When she was a kid, she went to the Dragon School in Oxfordshire. Emma's goal was to be an actor. As a young girl of six, she joined the Oxford Stagecoach Theatre Arts branch in which she was taught classes on singing, acting, and dance. The actress had performed in a variety of Stagecoach and school productions when she was 10 years old. Casting began in 1999 in the production of Harry Potter and the Sorcerers Stone (2001) the film adaptation of British writer J.K. Rowling's bestselling novel. Casting agents discovered Emma via her Oxford theatre teacher. David Heyman, the producer of Harry Potter Harry Potter's Sorcerer's Stone and Ron Weasley told Emma after the eight auditions that she'd been selected for the roles. The cast included Daniel Radcliffe Rupert Grint and Rupert Grint. Emma's first cinematic appearance was as a part of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone in the year 2001. The most successful film of 2001 The film broke records for its debut day revenue as well as its opening weekend earnings. Critics were impressed with the performance of the film as well as its story. The Daily Telegraph in Britain that is distributed widely, called her performance commendable. Emma was later awarded five prizes for her performance in the movie.
